⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 - Stars
Remembering First Love is a charming faith-based romance novel. Carina Rivera is a 20-year-old single Cuban woman of faith living in southern Florida. She could be described as wayward, but contrite. On the day of her beloved older sister’s wedding, Carina vows to return to God and correct her path. Due to some poor decisions within her control and some unfortunate incidents out of her control, Carina struggles with feelings of self-worth. Will she be able to repair her besmirched reputation? Will a handsome man’s inappropriate intentions sway Carina or will the pull of God’s love be enough to rescue her?
Jeanine Lunsford has written a truly inspiring novel. Carina is relatable in her imperfection. She falls for her supervisor and quickly finds herself in a compromised situation. It doesn’t take long for Carina to discover Aaron’s violent tendencies or his penchant for young attractive women. The story deals with her feelings of guilt balanced with mercy from above. The book also considers the long-lasting consequences of child abuse. Although the dialogue feels forced at times, the transformation Carina makes is motivating. Christian readers will relate to the struggles of a modern-day woman trying to retain chastity until marriage. Remembering First Love is a steamy novel that pushes the envelope. The drama will leave you breathless and aching for more!

Jeanine Lunsford shows her readers, characters who are flawed enough to make this story real. When Amelia Rivera gets married her sister Carina dreams that it is she who is getting married. She has made many mistakes in her past and comes to realize that she needs God in her life. She returns to make her confession to God and finds herself once again tempted to follow in the footsteps of her past. I look forward to reading more of the works by Jeanine Lunsford. Remembering First Love is a love story that will bring your emotions to the forefront.

"WHAT ABOUT LOVE?"
5-STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This may have been the second book in the series, but it certainly holds its own. Despite not having read the predecessor “Remembering First Love,” I was immediately sucked into the intrigue surrounding Carina Mendoza’s life.
Now living in Austin, Texas, Carina is picking up the pieces of a broken marriage to an abusive man. The divorce proceedings will take months to complete, and her possessive attorney Erik strongly advises her not to date anyone during that time. Quickly thereafter, however, Carina meets an amazing Christian man that is nothing like the husband she left on the other side of the country. Could it be God’s hand that has drawn them together? Erik’s rules may keep them apart, but as it turns out these rules only apply to other men as Erik has his own plans for this client.
The characters in this book are filled with depth, and Carina’s struggles make her a realistic protagonist. As the plot builds solidly to a tense confrontation, you will find yourself rooting for or against every character to one extent or another. The relationships between them are woven together flawlessly. What About Love is far more than a simple romance or an inspirational read. Jeanine Lunsford has masterfully combined faith, love and passion into a moving narrative.

"With Unbreakable Love"
Is it pre-wedding jitters, or is Carina's past destined to haunt her for the rest of her life?
What begins as an inspirational romance quickly turns into a suspenseful thriller in what is perhaps the most suspenseful of the three Rivera Sisters novels.
With Unbreakable Love provides a fitting resolution to Carina's story. The dialogue is believable, the characters are relatable and the overall plot is perfectly paced. Throughout this book (and the entire series), Carina fights against her broken past and the feelings of unworthiness that come with it. It is heartening to see Carina battle her doubts and discover her worth as a person, both to herself and in the eyes of God.
Yes, With Unbreakable Love could stand alone as a book, but you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't read all of the Rivera Sisters books! Jeanine Lunsford is an obviously talented writer that will enthrall readers of inspirational fiction, romance or suspense.
